Doctors in Performance is a festival conference of music performance and artistic research, where music performers conducting artistic research at doctoral and post-doctoral levels present their artistic research in the form of recitals, concert lectures or paper presentations.

New festival for contemporary music: “New Music Challenges/018” in Vilnius

The Lithuanian Ensemble Network collaborates with the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre as ”ensemble in residence”. Together with the department of composition LEN starts a new festival for contemporary music “New Music Challenges/018“.

Composition classes

In September my composition classes will continue at the Maastricht Academy of Music and at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Registering is still possible until the end of August (Maastricht) and September (Brussels).
As of this fall a new master program for performers of contemporary music starts at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Download the information sheet here.

New composition class in Maastricht

I have been offered a position to teach composition at the Maastricht Academy of Music, starting in september.
The school is internationally renowned: currently 442 students of around forty-eight different nationalities study in Maastricht and english is the common language. The Academy of Music offers both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
I will start a new class. Please spread the word among potential students!
Despite expiration of the deadline for general registration, the registration for composition students is still possible. The entrance examination will take place during the last week of august. Register for a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme via Studielink.
