Happy New Year!

CANTIO2013_LEN_scale
A very interesting year has started for me. Exciting collaborations with Het Collectief ensemble, Concertgebouw Brugge, Sax Allemande, Bl!ndman ensemble, Oslo Sinfonietta and KammarensembleN from Stockholm are coming. The compulsory piece for the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition is already in the shelf and a Portrait-CD by KAIROS is expected in may of 2015.

There is also an important practical change: all scores of my works written in 2015 will be free downloadable! Only the parts will be payable but only once: once paid – never charged again for additional performances. No hire material, no sending back…
Just like in the good old times, when one could take a sheet of music and just play it, without thinking much about the copyrights, prices, orders… It is important to bring the focus back to the musical thoughts, freedom of musical exchange and discovery — leaving the practicality in the background, where it belongs.

I whish you freedom in music for 2015!

technical update of “PASAKA” for piano and electronics

busy now with technical update of “PASAKA” for piano and electronics: quadraphonic, replacing some sounds, creating a possibility to perform using Max/Msp or any sequencer, etc.

“Pasaka” is an older piece, being periodically performed since the creation in 1995(-1997). It received several prizes: the Stipendiumpreis of ‘Ferienkurse für neue Musik Darmstadt in 1996 and the Prix de composition “Prix Special XXe Siècle” at the 5eme concours international de piano XXème siecle d’ Orleans in 2002.

First performance of the “updated” version is going to be played by Stephane Ginsburgh on 17 Octobers 2011 at the Kings Place, London.
